Here are a few pictures from the Zymurgist Borealis Septemberfest (September 23) 2000 meeting.

Although we didn't have nearly as large a turn out as we have had in the past we still had a good time.

The day was overcast but at least it wasn't raining or snowing.

We had good beer, good food and good conversation. All in all it was a good day.

Fire is an essential part of any brewfest especially one celebrating Equinox.

During our "meeting" the Riverboat Discovery chugged along on the mighty Chena River.

Left: Here we watch as the Discovery makes its way back to port.

Of course, as the Discovery goes by there is always the requisite suggestion that we "moon" them. This brings a chuckle and we end up just extending a toast to the crew and passengers of the Discovery as they go by. This is almost as good as a moon and not nearly as drafty.
